The Half-Yearly Working Inner Line Permit (ILP) is intended for workers and labourers in the unorganized sector, as well as temporary employees of registered private companies, firms, and institutions operating in Manipur.

Applicants must be sponsored either by a permanent resident of Manipur or by the Managing Director, Proprietor, or an authorized representative of the registered company, firm, or institution.

The permit is valid for a maximum of 180 days or the duration of employment, whichever is earlier. It may be extended once for another 180 days. Extensions beyond 360 days are not permitted, and a fresh application can only be submitted after a 30-day cooling-off period.

A valid Sponsor ID is mandatory before applying.
